Stage 1 · History
Taken properly, with time to answer.
Four services provided by a Florida-licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
A thorough history is where most of the useful information is, and it takes longer than a short appointment allows. We take it properly, examine, order screening appropriate to your age and risk, and refer on where something needs a specialist rather than managing it past the point we should.
Taken properly, with time to answer.
Before any plan is made.
Appropriate to your age and risk.
Where a specialist is the right answer.
Where things actually stand.
Every one reviewed, including supplements.
With the reasoning explained to you.
On a schedule, not only when unwell.
Chronic care goes wrong when repeat prescriptions continue unexamined for years. Each visit reviews whether the medication is still right, whether the dose still fits, and whether something could be stopped — polypharmacy causes real harm and nobody owns it unless somebody looks.
A great deal goes unmentioned because there was no time, and some of it matters. Longer appointments exist so the question asked at the door — the real one — gets asked in the room instead.
Including what you nearly did not say.
Examination and history together.
Explained, with the trade-offs.
Made with you, not for you.
Whether it is suitable remotely.
By secure video.
Asked to come in where needed.
Recorded in your chart as usual.
Telehealth suits follow-ups, medication reviews and results discussions. It does not suit everything: some things need examining, and some need an emergency department. We will tell you when a video appointment is not safe for what you are describing and ask you to come in.
Request one, with a short note on what brings you. We reply within two business days.
